On Christmas Eve the sun was shinning and there was an additional 7 inches of new snow on the ground. It was beautiful and almost postcard perfect.
I had planned an hour out of my day to take the kids sledding and it was quite an ordeal just to get out the door. I had to find long handles, gloves, boots, SOCKS, and snow pants. Trey was the only prepared one as for the other 2, it was alot of running around in frustration. After 2 hours...yes 2 hours...we finally got out the door. I then realized the importance of laundry and putting it away in the right spot.
The sledding hill is about 1/2 mile away from my front door and surprisingly I had not ever been there. It is the coolest sledding hill for kids.
IT WAS HARD FOR MORGAN TO HAUL THAT SLED ALL THE WAY UP THE HILL. BUT I HAVE TO TRAIN MY KIDS THAT THEY HAVE TO WORK TO ACHIEVE.
NOTE: LOOK AT MORGANS GLOVES
This was Morgans first time sledding. She was very scared at first. I coached her through it and told her to trust me, your going to have so much fun! After She made it down there was a big smile on her face! She did it and raced up the hill to try again.Trey thought he was pretty bad so I had to show him who the sledding champion was! The bigger the badder right?.....Trey did win and I was hurting too bad to go again. Don't worry, no kids were hurt in the filming of this event...just a little frostbite
