ARE YOU PREPARED?

I watched this video today on this fight that broke out at a GM dealership because the business was closing. I find it very sad and hard to watch as hard working men are so angry that they are going after each other. but also sad because I think it is just the beginning.
We have hard times ahead of us, but the good news is it isn't here for all of us yet. We need to start preparing for hard times and have a plan.
I once heard this saying "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" If your family was in trouble tomorrow, what could you do today to handle it a little better?
Lets go back to the basics of what do we need to survive? FOOD, SHELTER, AND WATER RIGHT?
I say, stock up on cigarettes. Totally joking. But seriously, we should all get a little more food that is non parish able and cans. Also start a savings. Some of you don't have one, that is why I say START a savings. This can help us with our shelter needs and food. WATER depending on where you live, is something you may be able to find or not. INVEST in a water purifier or some large drums, for long term.
There are a lot of things you can do. We all hope it doesn't happen to us, but look what is happening in Detroit. It is really sad. Just to think, all these people are about to lose everything unless they were prepared. It's a shame.
