As you all know, working in the mining industry, the schedule never works how you would like it to. Because of that, we had to schedule Matties birthday party almost a month later. So, on top of that, we also had an egg hunt since Easter's weather didn't really cooperate. Plus, it worked out because of the age group.
The weather was great! It was the perfect backyard BBQ weather. I am grateful for all her friends that came. Here are some Pict's from her 2ND birthday party! All the kids getting geared up for the egg hunt. They had to get all the wrinkles out of the plastic bags. It was quite facinating watching the little ones do this.Mattie found her first egg in the raspberry bushes. However, after that egg, she didn't want to look anymore, but eat what she found inside.

Sounds like a fun birthday party. Claire really enjoyed looking at the pictures. Miss you guys!
I love how everyone is wearing a tutu! SO fun!
...well the girls are anyway. :)
It was a great day, although I must admit that the pictures make it look like it was much warmer than it really was. But we still had a great time. Soak in the sun when you can. Live in the know, that's what Juneau has taught me.
To Rachel:
I actually edited the photos to give it more natural light. For some reason, the camera wants to pick up on a lot of the blues (that make the picts look cooler), not so much of the reds (that give it color). I like to make it look warmer
I hear Paige enjoyed herself, BUT had a hard time parting with the gift she gave Maddie! Sorry about that :)
