About Me

My photo
Hello! I am Bethany, a mom of 4 beautiful children, a owner of a dog, and married to a miner/hunter. (Camo is a popular color in our home). We recently relocated to the UP of Michigan from Juneau,Alaska...a huge adjustment. I have a passion for photography and documenting our journey through life. But, most of the time Im busy with my kids, hiding in the bathroom for peace and quiet, or trying to find my dog because he runs away all the time. Welcome to our world...always full of adventure.

Decorating

Part of moving into a project house is painting. The house has these amazing vaulted ceilings and cedar walls. It's a little more rustic than I like. It's going to be interesting to work with, but I think I have found some very good colors that give me hope.
These are just colors and designs that I think will look good with the existing kitchen. Peach or tan? I can't decide what color it is but I think it works well with all the wood.
I love the earth tones. They are clean and light.
This master bedroom is something that I'm sure will work. I love the 3 tones of paint that work so well together.

We will see...I might just be dreaming of the clean, open looks these have. But it gives me hope.

A big congratulations on your new house! That is so exciting. I say go for more of the neutral colors, like tans and browns. Then add the accent colors to your decor.

I really don't like peach! I love, love, love tan :) It matches with anything.

I really don't like peach either. I really wouldn't do peach at all. Peach is too much of pink...and I stay far away from that.
