About Me

My photo
Hello! I am Bethany, a mom of 4 beautiful children, a owner of a dog, and married to a miner/hunter. (Camo is a popular color in our home). We recently relocated to the UP of Michigan from Juneau,Alaska...a huge adjustment. I have a passion for photography and documenting our journey through life. But, most of the time Im busy with my kids, hiding in the bathroom for peace and quiet, or trying to find my dog because he runs away all the time. Welcome to our world...always full of adventure.

HANDYMAN

Do you want a housecleaner to help you get your house cleaned back up? Or, do you ever wish there was more than one of you that you could pass off duties to while you sit back and relax? I found a better solution...it's called A HANDYMAN.

I wanted a wall built around my hot tub. Andy gave me this sigh like he was too exhausted to even think about it. I then tried a new approach called...Phone a friend. She loaned her husband to me for a whole day as my handyman.

I cleaned and went about my day...and watched him work and built this beautiful wood wall.

The stairs....and side view. I don't see my neighbors anymore!

Hot tub Right outside my door and I won't see anything from inside. No neighbors, no street lights shining in on me...just pure cedar wood and the tops of trees.
I got this outdoor mat from Home Depot for free. Yes, free.
We handpicked every single picket. Picking out nice pickets is very important in building any fence. Or it might be uneven or rot away sooner than you would like.
The highway to heaven....right at my fingertips....ahhh. (Stinking kids left their fingerprints all over the door..)

Wow, that is a good friend lending out her husband for you! He looks like he did a great job. What a good idea, I always loved the hot tub more when it's cold outside, even snowing! You picked the perfect place to have one!! Enjoy!
