gymnastics

Mattie and Morgan are both in a local Gymnastics class on Saturdays. The class is full of very active children that need to run it out...especially mine.

Morgan just started 2 weeks ago. Morgan isn't as active of a kid as Mattie, but she really wants to do it. Matter of fact, before class last week the kids were playing tag. One boy tagged Morgan and said "your it!" as he ran off skipping away. Morgan looked at them kids like, "are you crazy? Do you really want me to RUN after you? This game isn't fun."...that's my Morgan. Not really the most flexible, athletic, child. But, she is smart and watches. One day, she will get it.

Mattie loves her gymnastics class. I believe that girl is part monkey. When she gets to the bars, she can run up to them, grab them, and swing her whole body. She is very strong. The balance beam is her biggest challenge. It's not walking on it, it's jumping over a ribbon on the balance beam that she looses her confidence on.
