About Me

My photo
Hello! I am Bethany, a mom of 4 beautiful children, a owner of a dog, and married to a miner/hunter. (Camo is a popular color in our home). We recently relocated to the UP of Michigan from Juneau,Alaska...a huge adjustment. I have a passion for photography and documenting our journey through life. But, most of the time Im busy with my kids, hiding in the bathroom for peace and quiet, or trying to find my dog because he runs away all the time. Welcome to our world...always full of adventure.

NORTH FACING WINDOWS

I'm indoors. I want to use the natural Juneau light. What I look for is the North Facing Window. This window has the best light. The difference between this window and any other window is...well, there is a big difference. I see more detail in the subject... that is flatering. The natural light allows your camera to have a faster shutterspeed, which is what catches movement, and reduces the amount of camera shake.
Colton and I hang out quite a bit. So he is my subject.
Focus on his eyes.

Or his profile.
Or the car he is playing with.
Whatever your focus is or whatever you intend the picture to say, with natural light, you will beable to have a flattering picture.
