I HAD A WONDERFUL FAMILY HOME EVENING last night. At the spir of the momment I called 4 families and invited them over to do the nativity story. I really thought someone was going to ditch out, but everyone showed up. The kids all dressed in costumes of angels, wisemen,shepherds, Mary and Joseph. The kids looked so good.
I feel guity not being able to share the momment with all my friends because it was so neat. I really thought about everyone and wished I had a bigger home and could put on a great party. The nativity was well needed in my home and really left my home with good cheer.

I think this is the first year I have really felt the holiday spirit. What is holiday spirit? You ask. For some people it is seeing the childrens excitement Christmas morning. I think it is all the traditions AND seeing your children enjoy the spirit. I mean, come on, who wants to be around the Grinch?
Trey almost refused to put on a costume. Good thing he is a follower because he found his way into one. Atleast he is around good friends. How can you tell if they are good kids? If they have good parents. It's so true in the whole picture.

That is very cute! How fun for your kids. I taught sharing time a couple weeks ago when I had the primary dress up and act out the nativity. When we came home, Claire dressed up all sunday in all the different roles, acting it all out. Fun!
