One of the most popular beaches here in Juneau is
Auke Bay. It is close to town and is a well taken care of beach. There are typically more people here in the summer than other beaches. Some friends and I decided to join up here on Friday for our last playgroup with the kids. Finding summer clothes was a challenge for me, but after searching I found some very cute hand-me-downs from my sister-in-law.
Mattie was walking behind us. We parked at the wrong end of the beach and had to haul all of our stuff to the other end. Walking in sand isn't easy. Matter of fact, when it was time to go-I just moved the truck closer
Summer is starting to feel more natural. I remember what heat feels like and life is starting to feel more normal. Andy has been running 3 miles every morning. Not on the tredmill but on the side of a mountain and got it done in 45 minutes today. He says he feels great and I can tell the difference. I am proud of his ability to consistantly beat challenges.

Wow..Andy is running? Thats awesome..how about you, are you going to do it too? That ocean look so gorgeous..I want to be there.
That was a really fun day. Glad we did it. It was truly a summer day.

Super fun day. I am so glad we were able to do this. I am looking forward to doing a beach day again sometime this summer and the walks too. I love the pic of Mattie and Matthias. Super cute!!!
