About Me

My photo
Hello! I am Bethany, a mom of 4 beautiful children, a owner of a dog, and married to a miner/hunter. (Camo is a popular color in our home). We recently relocated to the UP of Michigan from Juneau,Alaska...a huge adjustment. I have a passion for photography and documenting our journey through life. But, most of the time Im busy with my kids, hiding in the bathroom for peace and quiet, or trying to find my dog because he runs away all the time. Welcome to our world...always full of adventure.

SAD DISORDER

Do you ever get in a funk and cant get past your front door? I would never want to talk about it so I will just write. But it is the worst FEELING in the world. I know I am the kind of person that all the doctors talk about with SAD disorder, that is Seasonal Affective Disorder. I have always been this way, but growing up in TC ,the summers are my best time. Winters, I tend to not handle as well. But, this is why Juneau and I don't mix well on occation.
I tend to COMPLAIN...alot. I tend to have thoughts that NO ONE CARES and that bed time is a good time...where my children are all quiet and I can do what ever I want...so I think. But in all reality, I end up going and cuddling up in my blankets also.
For today, I'm going to have to open my curtains a little more, force myself to a 15 minute cleaning race, and set a goal to get out of the house in the pouring rain. It won't be until after that, when I will start to feel more human...I know these things.
