Hello! I am Bethany, a mom of 4 beautiful children, a owner of a dog, and married to a miner/hunter. (Camo is a popular color in our home). We recently relocated to the UP of Michigan from Juneau,Alaska...a huge adjustment. I have a passion for photography and documenting our journey through life. But, most of the time Im busy with my kids, hiding in the bathroom for peace and quiet, or trying to find my dog because he runs away all the time. Welcome to our world...always full of adventure.

BANANA BREAD

The chill is floating in the air but not quite here yet. It puts me in the mood...what mood you ask? The mood to make warm, yummy soups and tasty breads. Plus I have had this bunch of bananas sitting there ageing as the day goes on. Here is what I did with those bananas. They are baking in the oven as I speak and they smell really good.
I am making banana bread..a recipe I found online that looked easy.
Fiddle's Banana Bread
3 large ripe bananas OR 1 1/2C. banana
2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

1.BLEND the bananas. Set aside.
2.STIR the flour and sugar together.
3.ADD the bananas, oil, and eggs.
4.MIX until it looks like a batter. Fold in the nuts, if desired.

Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour at 325F, until golden brown.
