I have been home for quite a time now and I'm sure alot of you were tired of checking my blog and seeing it say "I'm in Seattle right now"...yes I have been trying to recover from the long trip and looking at pictures was the last thing I wanted to do. You have to understand, in 6 days, I took close to 700 pictures, my journey was through the camera lens...I love taking pictures but then it became annoying. Now I am past it, I have scrolled through all my pictures and am glad I documented every thing that we did.
After everything, my trip back East was well worth it. It was something I have always wanted to do... always wanted to see... and experience with great company. To summarize it, it was cool. History came to life and I felt like I was walking in the past. We (My sister, Mom, and I)traveled to Gettysburg and I felt the soldiers on the battlefield. We traveled to Ellis Island and I felt the immigrants that came in the early 19Th century. I saw the Statue of Liberty in all it's glory. I even saw some HOT New York Cops that told us all about their experience with 9/11. Learning about the history gave me a new appreciation for America. New York City gave me an appreciation for Juneau.
