However, we had some technical difficulties.
But It was fun designing them.
Hmmm....maybe next year we will try again.

Well, enjoying the moment is really what counts. Looks like fun. I bet your kids liked it better doing it their way than if it had been done professionally or something. Looks like fun to me.
